Salary - £27,322 + £3,000 Welcome Bonus & Benefits
Hours - 37.5, Full-Time (Occasional Evenings)
Osa Healthcare Recruitment are supporting our client to recruit an Occupational Therapist for their service providing care and support to adults living with a learning disability and/or mental health needs.
You will have experience in managing a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
Undertaking assessments using the Model of Human Occupation (MoHo) framework, you will implement and develop of evidence-based therapeutic activities to support men and women with a learning disability and/or autism to positively progress through their care plans

This role involves:
- Facilitate a flexible programme of OT groups and individual interventions as part of our tiered integrated therapeutic group programme.
- Completing assessments.
- Planning sessions.
- Implementing intervention.
- Evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities to aid mental health recovery.
To be successful in this role:
- Current HPC registration and full BOAT membership with evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- Knowledge and use of a range of OT assessments and outcome measures.
- Experience of working within a similar setting.

Where you will be working
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you’ll work alongside colleagues who provide person-centered care for men and women with a learning disability and/or Autism. Gaining experience across low secure and locked rehabilitation environments to support better health and greater independence.
You’ll work in an office, with service user environments ranging from small village cottages, where independent living skills can be developed, to 8 bedded units that facilitate the development of daily living skills. The service values positive risk-taking opportunities within a context of robust risk assessment and management to ensure those we support are kept safe.
