Our client is a small close-knit team that’s been grown and developed by an Occupational Therapist who specialises in Paediatrics. It puts its service users at the heart of what it does and has a lovely family feel. It currently has two Occupational therapists at present and three Occupational Therapist Assistants. The owner still does clinical work as she is so passionate about it. Due to business growth and our expanding client base, they are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist to work as part of their team which covers the North West of England.
You will be responsible for holding your own case load, providing occupational therapy assessments and treatment for clients who have a range of conditions which may include cerebral palsy, downs syndrome, head injuries, spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy, developmental delay, DCD, autism, sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, fine motor and perceptual difficulties.
The post may also include providing specialist equipment and adaptation assessments and recommendations as required.
A dedicated clinic and office space is available in Manchester for appointments and administration for all staff and will be your base.
Most assessments will take place in the clinic at the Manchester office however some requests are to do them remotely at individuals homes or school so some travel may be required, mileage will be covered.
