Osa Healthcare Recruitment are supporting our client to recruit an experienced Residential Team Leader for a position in a Brand New Childrens Home. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an organisation that provides a unique service by combining care, education and therapy for its young people.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for providing day to day care for our Young People, whether this is supporting them in activities, education or statutory meetings relating to their time in
residential care. You will work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring that care teams are maintaining their therapeutic approach and providing direct work with the children.
You will assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters as described in the
Companies Policies and Procedures, ensuring the homes are kept to a good standard, to
include cooking and cleaning and of course safeguarding their welfare at all times. You
will support the business, clinical & social development of the service. You will lead shifts and manage a team as well as a care team.

Experience required:

Experience of working with
young people, aged approximately 12 to 17,
who have challenging behaviours
 Experience of Shift leading
 Experience of supervising care staff.
 Completing LAC reports and attending external
meetings

Qualifications:

Essential

Good standard of written and spoken English, sufficient to write records and reports
 NVQ Level 3: Caring for Children and Young People

Desirable:

 Level 4 or 5 in health and social care
 Food Hygiene Certificate
 Health & Safety Training
 First Aid Training
 Safeguarding training
