Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Solihull. West Midlands. B91 3DA
Length/Type of Post: Permanent, Full Time.
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000
Hours: 37.5 hours Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Job Overview.
To work as part of a team to deliver professional and comprehensive data management focusing on HR/Finance information that is efficient and business focussed. Provide a high-quality information-based service managing processes accurately within a demanding environment whilst working to a timetable.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Accurately manage reporting from Rota Horizon database and work with the homes to provide employee data for KPI reporting to Head Office key stakeholders.
- Review the daily reports from Rota Horizon (Rota) of the clocking in/out by staff at the homes. Ensure correct input of staff working hours vs. Rota data via communication with the home administrators. Provide reports on progress relating to Home input on Rota.
- Review on a weekly basis sickness and lateness via Rota data and produce KPIs on this data in an easily understandable format for Head Office key stakeholders.
- Weekly audit our HR System inputted by Homes against data reported from Rota Horizon and ensure consistency of reporting and compliance. Liaise with Home Administrators on amendments for reconciliations with deadline to action the upload and report issues to Head Office key stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly KPIs for HR Manager for meetings with the Directors.
- Carry out monthly HR audits for all Homes to ensure HR compliance and any improvements needed to be made to be communicated to Home Manager.
- Manage agency bookings per internal process with outside businesses (Agencies) and internal needs of the business – provide reporting as necessary to Head Office key stakeholders
- To be logical, numerate, articulate. To work within a demanding environment with the ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Ensure the efficient and effective management of all the processes related to the control of the databases and production of KPIs for key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Access would also be beneficial.
- Develop internal procedures governing this role and roll out to the Homes to breed efficiency and best practice for the business – this role is a new placement and will have the advantage for the person to stamp the role as their own.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of a high quality and effective service
- Assist to recognise short- and long-term goals, milestones and benchmarks for KPI’s
- Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information. This job description is not intended to be exhaustive and may be revised from time to time to reflect the changing needs of the service.
